Missouri Breaks Durable Medical Equipment (DME) was established in 2004 to help improve the quality of life of people in our region by supplying medical equipment. Our service area covers all of Western South Dakota. We believe that a person’s rural address should not be a factor in their access to items that can improve their health and quality of life.
Our employees have a thorough understanding of the Native American beliefs and lifestyles. We take pride in serving our communities!

If you are in need of medical equipment, here are some steps to get the process started.

Work with your healthcare provider to determine what you need.

Your healthcare provider will then send us a prescription for the supplies.

After we receive the prescription and paperwork needed, we’ll find out if we can provide the items through your insurance or another program, like Dakota at Home. If the items are only partially covered, or not covered, there is sometimes a fee to the patient.

We’ll make arrangements with you to pick up your supplies or have them delivered to your home.
*It is an option to skip the steps above and pay out-of-pocket if you wish.
